Clause opened in July 2005 on Lovat Lane, just off Eastcheap. Its central location near Monument and Fenchurch Street stations makes Clause ideally positioned for City events. The contemporary design, plush furniture and waitress service throughout make the 250 capacity bar a great venue for a civilized lunch or early evening cocktails, but the late license (until 2am on Thursdays and Fridays) and dance area ensure an upbeat and funky atmosphere later on.
