Launched in November 2000, Opium is a Vietnamese restaurant and bar located on Dean Street in the heart of Soho. Designed by Paris-based Miguel Cancio Martins, (famous for the Buddha Bar, Bar Fly and Man Ray), Opium is quite simply, beautiful. It was also Miguel’s first design project in this country. Ornate wooden screens and bespoke French furniture help create the Vietnamese den atmosphere.
